Brooke and Max are going to have one of the most beautiful weddings of 2014... I'm calling it right now. Not only are Max and Brooke incredibly talented and creative people, but the ladies over at Bash Please are planning their day. Which means it will be nothing short of magical.

New Years Eve, three years ago, I sat on a roof in Zanzibar, Africa. I was a week into my solo journey through Tanzania and had treated myself to my first expensive meal of the trip. I sipped wine and thought of how far I've come, and what my next steps in life would be. The trip changed my life in so many ways, it taught me how truly genuine and completely unselfish people can be. It made me a more confident woman and a opened my eyes to how lucky so many of us are.
That girl sitting on the roof top three years ago would never have believed that in the future she would have her own successful photography business, be married to the most incredible man she's ever met and has crossed so many things off of her bucket list, that she's had to start a new one.
Today is a day of reflection, tomorrow we plan for the future.
