Hanging Closet DIY

Hanging Closet DIY // Paige Jones

I knew I wanted to create some sort of hanging closet in my office on one of it's white walls, A: Because it looks rad and fills up the blank space nicely.  And B: I can easily unhook it when I want to use the large blank white space for photos. The project is so easy... the hardest part is picking the leather straps, why is leather so pretty?

What you NEED :

----------------------------------------------

  • A Wooden Dowel Rod (any size you like)
  • Leather Straps (Any width you'd like)
  • J Hooks
  • Gold Spray Paint (if you loath silver as much as I do)
  • Rivets
  • Grommet Kit

What to DO:

----------------------------------------------

  • Spray Paint the J Hooks Gold
  • Loop the end of your leather straps and secure with Rivets
  • Line up both straps so that they will hang evenly
  • Use Grommet Kit to create hole that fits your J Hooks
  • Screw J Hooks into the Ceiling
  • Hang the Leather Straps down
  • Loop the Wooden Dowel through and you're done!

A little time capsule of 2024: we moved twice (3 times if you count the end of December 2023... I sure do). Shifted jobs, kept 3 businesses running, learned to ride bikes, learned to read, to tie shoes and eat new things. Explored mountains and beach
